Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Prepare, process, and pack various meat products such as pork, beef and chicken items
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all the meat products according to food safety guidelines
- Package and label meat products properly according to company guidelines including merchandising of meat products in a fresh and appealing manner
- Check for quality, maintain shelves clean and well stocked, rotate and remove out-of-date products
- Clean, filet, and prepare a variety of seafood products
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering assistance and answering questions
- Package seafood products adhering to portion sizes and weight requirements
- Create visually appealing displays of seafood products
- Unload, sort, and organize items in designated storage areas
- Regularly check expiration dates and generate labels with accurate price
- Implement a first-in, first-out system to ensure older products are utilized first
- Maintain correct signage for promotional grocery items
- Use aisle gun to scan and track inventory
- Merchandise produce items in a fresh and appealing manner
- Handle root vegetables carefully ensuring proper storage and display techniques
- Continuously expand knowledge to maintain quality and freshness of products
- Manage displays of UPC products such as tofu, salad, and nuts
- Plan and execute display changes based on season, time, and date
- Prepare and make various meals and dishes according to standardized recipes and guidelines
- Regularly monitor and rotate food items to ensure freshness and quality
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, cooking equipment, and utensils regularly
- Assist customers by answering their questions and providing help
- Monitor parking lot for loose grocery carts and return them to appropriate bays
- Assist customers with general questions and help load their groceries into their vehicles
- Provide assistance to cashiers by bagging customers' shopping items
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas including trash removal, floor cleaning, and restocking supplies
- Perform operational support duties including special cleaning as assigned
- Work closely with employees to ensure customer satisfaction and safety
- Place wet floor signs or caution signs to alert hazards
- Take immediate action to clear spills to prevent accidents
- Maintain accurate records of houseware inventory
- Assist in ordering houseware items
- Resolve customer issues and complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service with product inquiries
- Conduct face-to-face sales interactions demonstrating houseware features and benefits
- Perform all cash register functions including greeting, scanning, processing payments, and issuing receipts
- Maintain proficiency with item codes and PLUs
- Handle all cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
- Perform opening, shift change, and closing duties
- Assist with bagging and customer inquiries
- Greet customers and assist with products and services
- Sort paperwork such as invoices, sales orders, and item data
- Follow company policies on refunds and rewards
- Perform other customer service duties as assigned
