Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma
- Two or more years of job-related experience in medium volume and/or multi-unit kitchen operations
- Ability to speak read and comprehend instructions short correspondence and policy documents
- Ability to converse comfortably with individuals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma
- Inter-Provincial Red Seal certification in cooking preferred
- Brand certification a plus
- Two or more years of job-related experience in medium volume and/or multi-unit kitchen operations
- Three or more years preferred
- Knowledge of product customer service services and quality standards required
- Knowledge of equipment and operations standards required
- Team management delegation issue resolution coaching skills
- Ability to motivate others and act as a change agent
- Organization and multi-project time/issue management
- Ability to speak read and comprehend instructions short correspondence and policy documents
- Ability to converse comfortably with individuals
Job Duties
- Ensure on a daily basis that the kitchen is staffed appropriately and the kitchen is clean and inventory levels are appropriate and equipment is working properly
- Supervise the day to day activities of kitchen staff and assign responsibilities for specified work
- Continually monitor and update prep par and pull sheets
- Train cooks and prep cooks
- Ensure recipe compliance and complete self-inspection reports
- Ensure expediting is performed correctly
- Maintain planograms for walk ins
- Identify hiring firing advancement promotion or any other associate status change needs of the kitchen staff
- Comply with company and franchise standards of operation procedures and applicable regulatory agencies
- Provide the highest quality of customer service to the customers at all times
- support associates to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality
