Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- previous food, pharmaceutical, and/or dietary supplement production and manufacturing experience
- ability to follow cGMPs and food safety protocols
- basic understanding of equipment operation and troubleshooting
- capability to read and adhere to Master Manufacturing Records
- competency in using production tools such as pH meters, temperature probes, and scales
- strong communication skills for shift coordination and guidance
- ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- willingness to complete required corporate and job specific training
- commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous food, pharmaceutical, and/or dietary supplement production and manufacturing experience required
- experience with gummy manufacturing preferred
- minimum high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Job Duties
- Following cGMPs
- moving bulk materials
- manual mixing and adding ingredients
- in-process checks
- use of pH meter, temperature probe, scales
- peer weight verification
- providing guidance and instruction to other kitchen cooks
- taking passdown information from previous shifts and providing passdown information to subsequent shifts
- minor equipment and process troubleshooting
- supporting with NCR investigations
- following and enforcing all food safety, HACCP, and quality requirements
- overseeing other kitchen cook schedules and activities to assist the supervisor with ensuring breaks and lunches are taken at the right times and for the right length of time
- requesting, receiving, and handling materials from warehouse
- basic kitchen equipment operation
- scanning materials in ERP
- reading MMR
- filling out kitchen portion of batch record
- complete various trainings such as corporate, job specific, and cross training
- cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, tools, and containers
- chemical mixing and handling
- line clearance
- maintenance and calibration work order creation
- safety inspections
- daily and weekly tasks such as mopping, refilling PPE, self-inspections
