Job Requirements

  • Hold or meets qualifications to receive an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC Type Rating
  • Have a passion for teaching others through strong communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs
  • Must participate in CAE's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program
  • Experience flying business aircraft is a plus
  • Must be authorized to live and work in the United States

  • Keen eye for detail in maintaining records

Job Duties

  • Provide simulator, flight, or classroom instruction on assigned aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications
  • Conduct thorough pre and post-flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE standards
  • Complete required administrative duties including training records management, recommending remedial training, and tracking instructional qualifications and activities
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the creation of curricula and courseware when needed
  • Lead clients through their training as a subject matter expert ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Qualify as Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman after 1.5 plus years, per business needs
  • Maintain timely and accurate records abiding by CAE policies and FAA requirements
