Job Requirements

  • Hold or meet qualifications to receive an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC Type Rating
  • Participate in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
  • Experience flying business aircraft is a plus
  • Must be authorized to live and work in the United States
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for teaching
  • Ability to create a positive instructional environment

  • Keen attention to detail for maintaining accurate records

Job Duties

  • Provide simulator/flight or classroom instruction on one or more aircraft types as assigned for issuing licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications
  • Conduct pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner according to CAE standards
  • Complete required administrative duties such as maintenance of training records, recommending remedial training, and tracking instructional qualifications and activities
  • Act as a subject matter expert in creation of curricula and courseware as required
  • Lead clients through their training as a subject matter expert
  • Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman after 1.5 years as designated
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with CAE policy and FAA requirements
