Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of related experience
  • Authorized to live and work in the United States
  • Ability to participate in DOT Anti-Drug and Alcohol testing program
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to perform physical demands such as ascending ladders and standing for prolonged periods
  • Previous teaching or training experience preferred
  • Hold or have held a professional pilot's license

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree or college degree preferred
  • High school diploma or state issued equivalent required
  • 2-5 years of related job-relevant experience
  • Previous teaching or training experience preferred
  • Proven customer service orientation
  • Must be authorized to live and work in the United States
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
  • Hold or have held a professional pilot's license
  • Existing instructor qualification or type rating preferred
  • FAR Part 135 experience preferred
  • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time preferred
  • Possess unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot certificate with at least one unrestricted PIC type rating preferred

Job Duties

  • Deliver flight training in simulators and ground school in accordance with regulatory and CAE requirements
  • Act as subject matter expert and lead clients through training
  • Conduct pre and post flight simulator briefings professionally
  • Perform administrative tasks including training records maintenance and remedial training recommendations
  • Create curricula and courseware as a subject matter expert
  • Qualify as Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman after 1.5 years
  • Provide simulator or classroom instruction for license and type rating issuance
