Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or state issued equivalent
  • 2-5 years of related experience
  • Authorized to live and work in the United States
  • Ability to comply with DOT Anti-Drug and Alcohol testing program
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to sit in confined spaces for 4-6 hours with limited breaks
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours with limited breaks
  • Physical dexterity for hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • No restrictions on pilot license
  • Gulfstream operator or type rated preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree or college degree preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-5 years of related job-relevant experience
  • Previous experience teaching or training others preferred
  • Proven customer service orientation
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
  • Authorized to live and work in the United States
  • Ability to participate in DOT Anti-Drug and Alcohol testing program
  • Existing instructor qualification or type rating preferred
  • Hold or have held a professional pilot license
  • FAR Part 135 experience preferred
  • 3,000 hours total flight time preferred
  • Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot certificate and minimum one unrestricted PIC type rating preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide simulator, flight or classroom instruction on one or more aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications
  • Conduct pre and post flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE standards
  • Complete training records and recommend remedial training when necessary
  • Track instructional qualifications and activity
  • Act as subject matter expert in the creation of curricula and courseware
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and tailor training sessions to diverse customer needs
  • Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman after designated period
