Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of related experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Basic computer proficiency
- Participation in DOT anti-drug and alcohol testing program
- Ability to sit for 4-6 hours in confined space
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours
- Physical dexterity with hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Ability to stoop, climb, twist, and turn
- Willingness to relocate if local candidate is not available
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree or college degree preferred
- High school diploma or state issued equivalent required
- 2-5 years of related job-relevant experience
- Previous experience teaching or training others preferred
- Proven customer service orientation
- Authorized to live and work in the United States
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
- Eligible for CAE's DOT anti-drug and alcohol testing program
- Hold or have held a professional pilot's license
- Holds existing instructor qualification or type rating preferred
- Preferred FAR Part 135 experience with 3,000 hours total flight time
- Preferred unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating
Job Duties
- Provides simulator and classroom instruction on Gulfstream IV and other aircraft types for pilot licenses, ratings, certificates, and qualifications
- Conducts pre and post flight simulator briefings professionally and thoroughly according to CAE standards
- Completes administrative duties including maintaining training records, recommending remedial training, and tracking instructional qualifications and activity
- Acts as subject matter expert in curriculum and courseware development when required
- Leads clients through their training as a knowledgeable and supportive instructor
- Qualifies as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman after 1.5 years per business needs
- Participates in comprehensive pilot training programs including potential international travel and extended stays
