Job Requirements

  • high school education or equivalent experience
  • minimum of one year housekeeping experience preferably in a luxury hotel
  • ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • proficiency in English for communication purposes

Job Qualifications

  • reading, written and oral proficiency in the English language
  • minimum of one year housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury hotel
  • ability to cope with stress and work efficiently in a high volume operation
  • ability to prioritize and multitask
  • flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • high school education or equivalent experience preferred

Job Duties

  • removes dirty towels and sheets and replaces them with clean linen
  • cleans, dusts, and sanitizes all areas of the guest room including bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom
  • vacuums carpet and cleans marble and tile areas
  • removes room service trays, dishes and carts to service landings
  • restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pen
  • maintains a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms
  • reports any maintenance issues or lost and found items to the appropriate department
