Job Requirements
- high school education or equivalent experience
- minimum of one year housekeeping experience preferably in a luxury hotel
- ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and standing for extended periods
- positive attitude and strong work ethic
- proficiency in English for communication purposes
Job Qualifications
- reading, written and oral proficiency in the English language
- minimum of one year housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury hotel
- ability to cope with stress and work efficiently in a high volume operation
- ability to prioritize and multitask
- flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- high school education or equivalent experience preferred
Job Duties
- removes dirty towels and sheets and replaces them with clean linen
- cleans, dusts, and sanitizes all areas of the guest room including bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom
- vacuums carpet and cleans marble and tile areas
- removes room service trays, dishes and carts to service landings
- restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pen
- maintains a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms
- reports any maintenance issues or lost and found items to the appropriate department
