Job Requirements
- Work authorization for the location required
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow procedures and safety standards
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred
- Must be able to lift objects up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year or more experience in hotel housekeeping is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Basic understanding of guest service standards
Job Duties
- Clean, dust, and sanitize all areas of the guest room including bedroom, living room, dining room, and bathroom according to procedure
- Perform room attendant duties in occupied rooms and check-out rooms
- Provide turndown service for guests
- Find opportunities to personalize the service experience for each guest
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping team and management to maintain cleanliness standards
- Report maintenance issues and replenish guest supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
