Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills including the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions
  • Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job with knowledge of HotSOS preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs
  • US work authorization

Job Duties

  • Remove dirty towels and sheets and replace with clean ones from the linen closet and make bed
  • Clean, dust, and sanitize all areas of the guest room including bedroom, living room, dining room, and bathroom
  • Vacuum carpet and clean marble and tile areas
  • Remove room service trays, dishes, and carts to service landings and replace used cups, saucers, spoons and glasses from the minibar
  • Remove garbage from bins in bedroom and bathroom
  • Submit all maintenance issues in guestrooms, public areas and back of house areas to the engineering department through designated work systems and bring them to the attention of housekeeping management
  • Add special touches to the guestrooms to enhance the guest experience such as using microfiber cloth, bookmarks, cable ties, etc.
  • Restock used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, pens, coffee, tea, sugar
