Job Requirements
- Must be physically fit to lift, bend, and stand for up to eight hours
- Must be able to balance on step stools or ladders
- Ability to work in coolers at 36 degrees for up to 30 minutes
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
- Visual acuity to check identification
- Ability to speak, read, and write English at eighth-grade level
- Must perform basic math at eighth-grade level
- Class C Operator Certification required

- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to operate point-of-sale and related technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math proficiency at eighth-grade level
- Demonstrated honesty and dependability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Class C Operator Certification required
Job Duties
- Provide enthusiastic greetings to customers in person and on the phone
- Use customers' names and build rapport
- Deliver attentive and fast customer service
- Offer product suggestions and ongoing promotions
- Thank customers and invite them back
- Maintain cleanliness of inside and outside store areas including restrooms, floors, coolers, shelves, parking lot, and fuel islands
- Stock, front, and price merchandise accurately
- Manage inventory and control assets
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with accountability
- Enforce legal guidelines on age-restricted sales
- Monitor and respond to shoplifting or theft
- Operate POS and other store machines
- Attend store meetings and assist in recruiting new employees
