Job Requirements
- Must be physically able to lift, bend, and stand for up to eight hours
- Must be able to balance on step stool or stepladder
- Must tolerate working in cooler at 36 degrees for up to 30 minutes
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Must tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
- Visual acuity to check identification
- Ability to perform basic math at 8th grade level
- Ability to speak, read, and write English at 8th grade level
- Class C Operator Certification required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate POS and lottery machines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
Job Duties
- Provide an enthusiastic beaming greeting to all customers upon entering the store or on the phone
- Get to know your customers and use their name
- Go out of your way to make customers feel important and valued
- Give 100 percent attention to customers
- Move quickly to provide fast service
- Offer suggestions and promotions
- Thank customers for their business and invite them back
