Job Requirements

  • At least 2 to 3 years' progressive experience in a hotel, resort, or related field
  • college courses in hotel or motel management are helpful
  • computer experience required
  • previous supervisory responsibility required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • ensure that associates are always attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow associates
  • complete and ensure accuracy of bucket checks, room rate verification reports, housekeeping reports, and daily front office checklists
  • assist AFOM and FOM in ensuring associates follow and maintain standards such as answering phones, callbacks to guests, and managing guest request logs in a timely manner
  • guide, support, and inspire associates to deliver exceptional guest service
  • resolve guest issues promptly to maintain satisfaction
  • foster a welcoming and positive environment for guests and associates
