Job Requirements

  • AA degree preferred or 3 years customer service experience in healthcare or related service industry
  • Experience must include supervision or leading the work of others
  • Must demonstrate excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Must be able to use a computer
  • Must be results oriented
  • Must be able to teach and train others
  • Must possess excellent problem solving skills
  • Must successfully pass FBI Level 2 screening

Job Qualifications

  • Successful completion of FBI Level 2 screening for positions at the UF Health Psychiatric Hospital

Job Duties

  • Act as a liaison between patients, families, visitors, and staff to facilitate patient satisfaction
  • Provide orientation and support to patients and families regarding hospital environment, amenities, and resources
  • Assist guests with patient and UF Health information, wayfinding, transportation, and local lodging knowledge
  • Manage lost and found process and provide valet vouchers
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Proactively facilitate communication and problem resolution between unit staff, other departments, and patients/families
  • Engage in customer service recovery and proactive rounding
