Job Requirements

  • aa degree preferred or 3 years customer service experience in healthcare or related service industry
  • experience must include supervision or leading the work of others
  • excellent verbal and communication skills
  • ability to use a computer
  • results oriented
  • able to teach and train others
  • must successfully pass a fbi level 2 screening for the uf health psychiatric hospital position

Job Duties

  • function as a liaison between patients, families, visitors, and staff to facilitate the highest level of patient satisfaction
  • create a positive impression through high quality engagement, assistance, proactive rounding, and customer service recovery
  • orient and support patients/families regarding hospital environment, amenities, and resources
  • provide guests with patient and UF Health information, wayfinding, securing transportation, and knowledge of local lodging and amenities
  • support the lost and found process
  • provide valet vouchers
  • ensure a safe and clean environment
  • proactively facilitate communication and problem resolution between unit staff, other departments, and the patient/family
