Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior customer service experience preferred
  • ability to perform basic mathematics
  • excellent communication skills
  • proficiency in computer use
  • ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift objects up to 10 pounds
  • commitment to maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • ability to handle cash and process payments accurately

Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins/check-outs
  • manage room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
  • secure payment and verify/adjust billing
  • activate and file room keys
  • process guest requests and relay messages
  • print contingency guest lists for emergencies
  • explain room features and supply guests with property and local information
  • follow up on outstanding requests or problems
  • run and review daily reports/logs
  • complete designated cashier and closing reports
  • accept and record wake-up call requests
  • count and secure bank at shift start and end
  • process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges
  • notify Loss Prevention/Security of guest theft reports
  • adhere to company policies and procedures
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome guests and anticipate service needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • support the team to reach common goals
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • move objects up to 10 pounds
  • perform other duties as assigned
