Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Manage room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
  • Secure payment and verify and adjust billing
  • Activate and file room keys
  • Process all guest requests and relay messages
  • Print contingency lists for emergency records
  • Identify and explain room features to guests and provide information on amenities and local attractions
  • Follow up on outstanding requests or problems
  • Run and review daily reports and logs
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports
  • Accept and record wake-up call requests and communicate to appropriate departments
  • Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift
  • Process payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges
  • Notify Loss Prevention or Security of any guest theft reports
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Maintain professional communication and telephone etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
