Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards
- good communication skills both verbal and written

- extensive knowledge of hotel services and facilities
- general knowledge of local city and attractions
- ability to follow hotel policies and procedures effectively

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- register guests into the computer verifying reservation,address,and credit information
- promote preferred guest program and provide recognition and benefits to members
- accept payment for guest accounts at registration and checkout
- maintain house bank and report receipts daily
- cash checks and exchange currency for guests
- issue keys and control safety deposit box access
- post miscellaneous charges as requested
- promptly respond to and resolve guest complaints
- answer telephone promptly while being polite and courteous
- take reservations accurately and efficiently
- perform check-ins professionally and thoroughly
- perform check-outs efficiently and accurately
- operate or assist with shuttle or transportation services
- assist guests with luggage upon arrival and departure
- use guests' names to provide personalized service
- be knowledgeable and helpful about local area,hospitality services and hotel facilities
- handle messages,wake-up calls, mail and faxes properly
- assist with laundry and dry cleaning services
- be aware of incoming VIP guests
- follow all company standard operating procedures
- perform assignments as directed by General Manager
- maintain professional,mature and responsible conduct
- foster positive team interactions
- use time wisely and remain self-motivated
- communicate effectively with all departments
