Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year strong cashier or accounting experience
- Minimum of one year customer service experience
- Must be able to obtain New Mexico Gaming Work Permit
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess good interpersonal skills
- Must possess ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time
- Must possess ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Must possess ability to operate computer software and 10-key adding machines
- Must communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Must be able to interpret player’s club data and explain to customers
- Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer and office equipment
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds and bend, reach and stoop on a limited basis
Job Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Two years heavy cash handling experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to perform basic math including add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Ability to operate computer software programs and 10-key adding machines
- Proficiency with Windows-based software preferred
- Ability to interpret data in player’s club and explain to customers
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and perform bending, reaching and stooping on a limited basis
- Ability to obtain New Mexico Gaming Work Permit and must be 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction with respect to the cage/vault is achieved and maintained
- Has knowledge of federal cash reporting requirements and completes the necessary paperwork to comply with federal currency transaction reporting requirements of Title 31
- Communicates promotions to the customers
- Promotes internal customer service standards through courteous and respectful behavior
- Consistently welcomes customers, thanks them for their patronage, seeks ways to make them comfortable and expresses the desire to have them return
- Presents a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times
- Maintains constant awareness of services, promotions and events offered at the facility and informs customers
- Exchanges money and makes change for customers
- Shows special recognition of frequent customers
- Enrolls customers into player’s club and issues cards
- Performs buys with vault and completes all paperwork in accordance with gaming regulations
- Handles check cashing and cash advances
- Other duties as assigned
