Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • proficiency in computer operating systems
  • ability to read, write and speak English effectively
  • mathematical skills for revenue calculations and cash balancing
  • ability to work long and flexible hours
  • ability to stand for 8 hours
  • ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and work under stress

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to read, understand and interpret hotel reports and internal information
  • ability to read, speak, and write efficiently to interact with guests and staff
  • sufficient mathematical skills for revenue and bank balancing
  • thorough knowledge of front office operations, service standards, and guest relations
  • effective communication skills
  • flexibility to work long hours
  • ability to manage multiple activities and time management skills
  • sound judgment and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Represent hotel in a professional and courteous manner
  • check guests in and out in a timely and efficient manner
  • ensure reservations are taken correctly and courteously
  • be proficient in computer operating system
  • be available at all times to deal with guest issues professionally
  • notify General Manager or equivalent immediately of any guest, employee, or cash concerns
  • supervise property staff as needed
  • ensure compliance of safety and security standards
  • report to the Regional Operations Manager in General Manager absence
  • responsible for bank deposits in General Manager absence
  • identify and follow up on life/safety and inspection issues
  • notify General Manager or equivalent immediately of any safety and/or security violations of policy
  • leave all desk and office areas clean and neat
  • handle administrative duties as assigned
  • take responsibility for ensuring the property is always clean and free of trash and debris
