Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- efficiently handle check-ins and check-outs
- manage reservations accurately
- record charges for rooms, taxes, and additional fees according to hotel policy
- provide guests with information about the hotel, amenities, local attractions, restaurants, shopping, and churches
- address and resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally
- operate the phone system with proper etiquette, take and transfer calls, record messages, and manage wake-up calls
- complete credit card authorizations and cash transactions accurately
- maintain organized records including Night Audit Checklist, cash and call logs, and Front Desk Log
- adhere to all safety and security protocols by inspecting property and ensuring functionality of lighting and secure doors
- promote the Stay Rewarded Loyalty Program to enhance guest loyalty
- assist with cleaning tasks such as laundry, sanitizing common areas, and stocking supplies
- deliver guest supplies as needed and manage master keys and key cards for staff
- assist housekeeping with guest room cleaning during busy periods
