Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel front desk or customer service
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale software
  • ability to handle cash and transaction processing accurately
  • flexible availability to work multiple shifts including weekends and holidays
  • problem-solving skills to handle guest complaints and concerns professionally

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience as a front desk agent or in a high-volume customer service role
  • excellent customer service skills
  • strong computer and technology proficiency
  • ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
  • team player with excellent communication skills
  • passion for enhancing the guest experience
  • knowledge of hospitality industry best practices

Job Duties

  • greet and register guests
  • complete guest check-in and check-out
  • input and retrieve information from the computer system
  • confirm guest information and room rates
  • assist guests with choosing rooms and issuing electronic keys
  • handle payments including cash, credit and debit cards, foreign currency, and gift certificates
  • provide detailed knowledge of hotel services, room categories, rates, packages, and promotions
  • respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • use up-selling techniques to maximize room occupancy
  • manage guest complaints and negotiate satisfactory solutions
