Job Requirements
- Minimum one to two years of experience in hotel operations preferably front office with supervisory experience
- ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings
- comfort interacting and communicating with C-level, VP, and senior management
- ability to write effective letters, memos, presentations, and SOPs
- ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents including financial and legal papers
- ability to respond appropriately to inquiries and complaints from team members, guests, regulatory agencies, or business community members
- strong problem definition and data analysis skills
- minimum age of 21 years
- ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods with frequent bending, stooping, and lifting
- ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally
- physical ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and balance in varied work environments including confined spaces
- willingness to work indoors in a climate-controlled environment exposed to noise, dust, and smoke
- ability to work in close proximity with others
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one to two years of experience in hotel operations preferably in front office with supervisory experience
- strong communication skills for one-on-one, small group, and large group interactions
- experience interacting with C-level, VP, and senior management
- proficiency in writing effective letters, memos, presentation decks, and standard operating procedures
- ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents such as financial reports and occupancy forecasts
- problem-solving skills including data collection, fact establishment, and drawing valid conclusions
- preferred previous leadership experience in hotel operations or related fields
- eligible to qualify for required licenses and permits
Job Duties
- Work closely with the Resort Operations Manager to ensure smooth daily operations of the Front Desk
- supervise Front Desk team members including Lead Clerks and Clerks
- resolve guest challenges promptly and professionally
- foster positive morale among team members
- exceed guest service expectations consistently
- collaborate with various departments such as Food & Beverage, Convention Sales, Entertainment, Retail, Casino Marketing, CRM, Hotel, Revenue Management, and Human Resources
- develop and manage Standard Operating Procedures ensuring compliance
- coordinate room inventory management with Group, Sales, Casino, VIP, and Reservations teams
- assist in building and leading a high-performing Front Desk team through interviews, training, coaching, and performance reviews
- aid in the development and management of Front Desk budgets
- define and monitor key performance indicators for Front Desk operations
- prepare regular performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement
- ensure full compliance with all relevant policies and procedures related to Front Desk operations
