Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years relevant work experience
  • one year of supervisory experience
  • ability to pass pre-employment background and reference checks
  • current Oregon Liquor Control Commission license or willingness to obtain through employer-provided training
  • current Oregon Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain through employer-provided training
  • availability to work 30 to 39 hours per week
  • ability to work in a fast-paced public-facing environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years experience working in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on high-volume customer interactions and transactions
  • demonstrated ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and talents
  • at least one year of supervisory experience in a public-facing retail or service environment
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and manage overlapping deadlines
  • knowledge of customer service best practices

Job Duties

  • Provide supervision and support to Guest Services Representative staff
  • rotate across multiple stations to perform customer service duties
  • manage guest ticketing processes
  • usher guests at various locations in the museum
  • answer guest questions and provide concierge services
  • ensure high quality customer service is maintained throughout the visitor experience
  • assist in staff training and development
