Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years in administrative experience
  • Six months of experience using property management or reservation systems preferred
  • Six months of hotel or resort front desk experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Greet and establish rapport with guests, current and prospective residents
  • Field resort comments, suggestions, and complaints to the RV Resort Manager
  • Maintain petty cash fund and record expenditures properly
  • Perform general administrative functions such as answering phones, typing, photocopying, faxing, filing
  • Collect and post resident security deposits, processing fees, rent, and other fees
  • Prepare and distribute resort communications including rule reminders and newsletters
  • Assist with guest reservations in person and via phone
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and prepare orders
  • Assist with planning and coordinating guest and resident events
  • Assist with preparation of marketing materials
  • Make collection calls for rental payments and submit bad debt files
  • Process resident move-ins and move-outs
  • Maintain resort records, reports, and files
  • Refer sales prospects to management and enter data into property management system
  • Obtain and track approvals on prospective resident applications
  • Assist prospective residents with inventory checks and rental applications
  • Review and code invoices and payables and submit for approval
  • Check guests in and out for reservations
