The Fast Pass Representative is a vital role within the Emergency Department and hospital environment, responsible for facilitating the smooth and efficient flow of patients and visitors upon their arrival. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or healthcare setting preferred
- ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- strong communication skills
- basic computer proficiency
- attention to detail
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- physical ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- manage the Fast Pass process for all incoming ED patients and visitors
- greet and direct patients and guests promptly, ensuring they are routed according to established protocols
- communicate effectively with registrars, security, and ED staff as needed
- maintain awareness of ED lobby, reporting any suspicious activity to security
- pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy while using the Fast Pass system
- work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, as needed
- provide excellent customer service and uphold organizational mission and values
