The Fast Pass Representative is a vital role within the Emergency Department and hospital environment, responsible for facilitating the smooth and efficient flow of patients and visitors upon their arrival. This position ensures that all incoming individuals are accurately processed through the Fast Pass system, which entails verifying guest identification and assessing any potential risk factors as they enter the facility. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or healthcare setting preferred
- ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- strong communication skills
- basic computer proficiency
- attention to detail
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- physical ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- manage the Fast Pass process for all incoming ED patients and visitors
- greet and direct patients and guests promptly, ensuring they are routed according to established protocols
- communicate effectively with registrars, security, and ED staff as needed
- maintain awareness of ED lobby, reporting any suspicious activity to security
- pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy while using the Fast Pass system
- work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, as needed
- provide excellent customer service and uphold organizational mission and values
