Job Duties

  • Greet patients, families and visitors in a friendly professional manner
  • answer questions and list local amenities including dining, hotels, restaurants, flower shops, bus schedules, airline information, car rental services, and pharmacies
  • identify and report visitors, guests and patients needs
  • resolve customer issues or escalate to supervisor as required
  • provide escorts for patients and visitors to hard-to-find hospital areas
  • refer patients and visitors to services that address their needs and concerns
  • maintain standards of customer service excellence
  • maintain current information and materials regarding facilities, services and local restaurants and attractions
  • clean and report the status of assigned equipment
  • maintain cleanliness of the lobby and surrounding areas
