Job Requirements

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • College degree preferred
  • Six months related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to understand other computer programs (i.e., Property Management System)
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professional communication skills are critical
  • Ability to work under pressure with a high level of patience and customer service
  • Accurate cash handling skills required
  • CPR and first aid certification a plus and/or willingness to be trained
  • Position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures, capacity to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Comfortable working in an indoor/outdoor use space

Job Duties

  • Comply with grooming standards and always maintain a professional appearance
  • Comply with all operational standards, policies and procedures, manuals, training materials, memos, and verbal instructions
  • Fulfill all items on the shift checklist
  • Check in and out all resort guests in a professional, confident, and personalized way
  • Accurately and efficiently process day passes, event reservations and make sure waivers are signed
  • Ensure prompt responses to all guest comments and concerns, inform the immediate supervisor of any issues, and assist in implementing corrective measures as needed
  • Foster a positive relationship with all employees and guests
  • Make sure all emails, texts and calls are answered courteously, professionally, and promptly
  • Keep an accurate record of guest emails, texts and calls for assistance or complaints and ensure that all items are completed
  • Open, secure, and balance shift banks, ensuring the verification of all cash and card transactions during each shift
  • Possess a thorough understanding of resort availability, current rates, and any events that may affect occupancy and availability
  • Have a thorough understanding of the amenities and directions to/from resort
  • Maintain open communication with all departments and upper management through email, meetings, and other means to ensure all resort needs are addressed
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the work area
  • Make sure all equipment is kept in good, safe working condition
  • Stay vigilant regarding safety issues across the property
  • Stay updated on safety and emergency procedures as well as OSHA requirements
  • Participate in relevant meetings
