Job Duties
- Responsible for efficient and courteous front desk operation
- Check guests in/out efficiently and courteously
- Collect balances and post room charges
- Answer and transfer all calls using proper telephone etiquette
- Provide guest information about local restaurants and attractions
- Make courtesy calls and follow up on guest issues
- Send confirmation letters to owners/guests
- Coordinate with other departments to respond to guest requests
- Process incoming revenue daily
- Open and close credit card machines and cashier audit reports
- Balance cash drawer and process advance deposits
- Order office supplies
- Prepare night audit daily
- Enter maintenance and service requests promptly
- Make reservations courteously and efficiently
- Handle room moves and stay-over requests
- Run reports and correct errors before guest check-in
- Perform inventory management changes as directed
- Prepare check-in packets for upcoming week
- Make rental calls to notify owners
- Respond to online reviews
- Reconcile rentals monthly
- Check online travel agents for rental inbounds
- Make daily post office and banking runs
- Block RCI points for unpaid accounts
- Manage RCI banking, membership changes, and cancellations
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
