Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years post-high school experience in fast-paced office, reception, healthcare, or customer service setting
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong computer and typing skills
  • Strong math skills for cash handling
  • Ability to interact with diverse populations
  • Excellent oral communication and listening skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Standard keyboarding skills
  • Ability to multitask and answer multi-line phone
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect patient privacy
  • Maintain professional appearance and maturity
  • Possess excellent judgement in meeting customer needs
  • Valid driver’s license when driving for work

Job Duties

  • Serve as front door ambassador greeting and assisting patients, families, visitors, and staff
  • Conduct health screenings following CDC and organizational guidelines
  • Manage visitor check-in and lobby traffic for hospital and clinics
  • Coordinate scheduling of contracted interpreters
  • Handle cash reconciliation, cash posting, and external transportation billing
  • Maintain Lost and Found items
  • Provide directions, wayfinding, concierge services, and transportation assistance
