Job Description
Moon River Ranch is an expansive 550-acre event venue located along the scenic Brazos River, approximately 20 minutes southeast of Waco, Texas. This versatile property is primarily utilized for hosting a wide array of events including family reunions, weddings, parties, corporate retreats, and meetings. The ranch boasts a complex of several buildings that facilitate these events — including an Event Center, a Chapel, an office, and a Lodge featuring 15 guest rooms. Job Requirements

- minimum 2 years sales experience

Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of inbound and outbound sales experience
- sales experience in venue and event sales preferred
- proven ability to create and maintain strong client relationships
- strong written and oral communication skills
- highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- proficiency in Google Suites, Microsoft Office Suites, Guesty, Perfect Venue, Xola
- ability to adapt and adjust planned work based on demands and priorities
- ability to assess situations and provide effective solutions
- ability to multitask and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment
- positive attitude and professional demeanor
- willingness to work extra hours as needed
Job Duties
- Meeting with potential clients to understand their needs and present our venue offerings
- converting inbound inquiries and leads into exceptional booked experiences for clients and guests
- conducting tours of the venue and highlighting its features to potential clients
- negotiating rental terms, contracts, and prices to secure bookings
- analyzing sales weekly, monthly, quarterly to identify opportunities and track growth
- proactively sharing sales challenges with recommended plans to address gaps with leadership team
- collecting deposits or payments and recording transactions according to company policy
- assisting with inbound and outbound marketing for the venue to attract potential clients and drive bookings
- consistently engaging in account management with existing clients to maximize sales potential and increase frequency
- coordinating with client, other staff and vendors to ensure events run smoothly
- managing and maintaining positive client relationships and providing exceptional customer service
- greeting and welcoming all guests at the Front Desk according to Moon River Ranch standards with a friendly and warm demeanor
- answering inquiries from guests regarding lodging and activities
- establishing and maintaining good communication and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments within the hotel
- working a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
- working towards and achieving a monthly sales target of $45,000 in event bookings
