Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel, resort, or spa operations
  • Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel, resort, or spa operations, with a strong understanding of front office procedures and guest service standards
  • Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) and hotel-related software highly valued
  • Background in customer service or hospitality roles strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask under pressure while remaining composed and focused
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including handling reservations, guest inquiries, and administrative tasks accurately
  • Genuine passion for hospitality and commitment to creating warm, thoughtful, and memorable guest experiences
  • Polished, professional appearance in line with elevated hospitality standards
  • Naturally pleasant, charismatic, and welcoming demeanor, with the ability to build trust and put guests at ease

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional service and ensure high guest satisfaction by following Forbes and Mirbeau standards
  • Provide a warm, professional welcome- greet, register, and check-in arriving guests, create key cards, and escort/direct guests to their rooms
  • Assist departing guests with check-out, billing inquiries, and payment processing
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest questions, requests, and concerns- resolving issues with professionalism and care
  • Promote resort amenities and services by staying informed on offerings, facilities, and hours of operation
  • Verify daily arrivals, reservations, and room statuses, update pass-on logs, and communicate special requests to the appropriate teams
  • Prepare pre-registrations, room changes, no-shows, and guest amenities in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate guest folios, posting charges promptly and coordinating with Spa and Food & Beverage for transfers
  • Process payments, authorize credit cards, and complete daily cash handling, deposit logs, and reporting
  • Perform shift checklists, drawer counts, guest deliveries, and amenities preparation
  • Ensure the front desk and adjacent areas remain clean and organized at all times
  • Maintain open communication with all departments to ensure operational alignment and seamless service
  • Work closely with Housekeeping to confirm room status updates and coordinate timely turnovers
  • Share important updates, incidents, and guest needs through pass-on logs and internal tools to support smooth shift transitions
  • Attend scheduled meetings and contribute to team communication and improvement efforts
  • Print expected departures report, review arrivals, and prepare for PM shift (AM Shift)
  • Print credit manager's report, prepare for Night Audit, and confirm next-day readiness (PM Shift)
  • Follow all resort policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including security of guest valuables
  • Maintain a neat, professional appearance and arrive prepared and on time for scheduled shifts
  • Uphold Mirbeau's culture of excellence by ensuring every guest interaction reflects warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
