Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year of guest services, general office, accounts receivable, or customer service experience
- ability to speak and hear in English
- visual acuity including close and distance vision
- physical ability to sit, walk, stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry 6-25 lbs
- manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- willingness to work overtime and irregular hours

Job Duties
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- issue room key and escort instructions without announcing room numbers
- answer inquiries regarding hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel
- keep records of room availability and guest accounts
- make, confirm, and cancel reservations
- compute bills, collect payments, and make change
- post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone
- date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages
- transmit and receive messages using telephone, fax, and switchboard
- enforce hotel credit policies
- account for all cash and make deposits
- greet guests warmly
- take responsibility for assigned employees in absence of manager
- make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations
- deposit valuables in safe
- order complimentary flowers or champagne
- perform other assigned duties
