Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year guest services, general office, accounts receivable, or customer service experience
- ability to speak and hear in English
- ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods
- ability to lift or carry 6 to 25 lbs
- manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- ability to work overtime and irregular hours
- willingness to handle cash and credit transactions

Job Duties
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- issue room key and escort instructions discreetly
- answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and local information
- keep records of room availability and guests' accounts
- make, confirm, and cancel reservations for guests
- compute bills, collect payments, and make change
- post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone
- date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages
- transmit and receive messages using telephone, fax, and switchboard
- enforce hotel company credit policies and account for cash deposits
- greet guests warmly and take initiative
- assign work and ensure proper performance of employees in absence of department manager
- make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations
- handle guests' valuables securely
- other duties as assigned
