Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to use telephone systems and office equipment
- proficiency in managing guest accounts and reservations
- capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently
- ability to supervise and direct associates
Job Duties
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- issue room key and escort instructions without announcing room numbers
- answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, dining, shopping, entertainment, and travel
- keep records of room availability and guests’ accounts
- make, confirm, and cancel reservations
- compute bills, collect payments, and make change
- post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone
- date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages
- transmit and receive messages using telephone, fax, and switchboard
- enforce hotel company credit policies
- account for all cash and make deposits
- greet guests warmly
- take responsibility for assigned employees in manager's absence
- make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations
- manage guests’ valuables
- perform other duties as assigned
