Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • no prior related work experience required
  • no supervisory experience required
  • no licenses or certifications required
  • ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods
  • ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Test beepers and radios to ensure communication equipment is working properly
  • place requested items in guest rooms such as rollaway beds and refrigerators
  • deliver additional towels, bathrobes, and other articles to guest rooms
  • provide guests with complimentary toiletries such as toothpaste, razors, and shampoo
  • deliver items including food, messages, toiletries, correspondence, faxes, packages, flowers, gifts, and miscellaneous articles to guest rooms
  • comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • ensure the privacy of company information and protect company property
  • support co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect
  • assist the team in meeting common goals
  • meet quality assurance standards
  • move, lift, transport, push, pull and place objects weighing under 50 pounds without assistance
  • stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods or throughout entire shifts
  • read and visually verify information in various formats
  • visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery for defects
  • reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting from the waist, dragging and stooping
  • move through narrow, confined or elevated spaces
  • ascend and descend stairways and/or service ramps
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
