Job Requirements

  • Must pass security clearance
  • must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • must be able to stand for eight hours bend stretch and reach
  • must be able to see and hear
  • must be able to speak and read English
  • must display professionalism honesty and trustworthiness at all times
  • must be able to work unsupervised and be productive at all times
  • flexibility in work schedule
  • physical ability to perform major life activities such as standing lifting bending learning reading concentrating thinking and communicating

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in accounting sales telesales service or guest relations helpful
  • knowledge of Manager on Duty functions
  • knowledge of cash and credit card handling and balancing charges
  • knowledge of safety and security measures
  • knowledge of hotel property staff services hours of operation
  • proficiency in property management system
  • ability to multitask and maintain service centric attitude
  • strong communication skills
  • professionalism honesty and trustworthiness

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
  • follow LBA standards of friendly hospitality while adhering to guidelines and procedures
  • execute selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue
  • act as Manager on Duty responding immediately to guest requests
  • greet and register guests providing room assignments and accommodate special requests when possible
  • promote and sell hotel services and amenities
  • promote repeat business by taking future reservations and recommending alternate same brand-type products
  • keep housekeeping and other departments informed of special requests and late check-outs
  • check all credit cards for validity before end of shift
  • utilize property management system
  • ensure all cash checks and miscellaneous departments are balanced at shift end
  • assist in other areas such as food and beverage and cleanliness of property
  • maintain a clean and professional lobby and dining area
  • practice safety standards and report hazardous conditions
  • report unusual occurrences to manager
  • maintain stock and cleanliness of market area
  • maintain certification if alcohol is served
  • be flexible regarding work schedule
  • assist other departments as assigned
