Job Requirements
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift and/or carry 30 pounds
- must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch and reach

Job Qualifications
- Experience in accounting, sales, telesales, service or guest relations type of industry helpful but not mandatory
- high school diploma or equivalent
- degree helpful but not required
- knowledge of Manager on Duty functions
- understanding of cash and credit card handling
- knowledge of safety and security measures
- familiarity with hotel property, staff, services, rooms, rates and policies
- knowledge of frequent stay program and reservations procedures
- phone etiquette and answering procedures
- daily hotel operations and current events
- computer literacy in property management system
- multitasking ability
- strong communication skills
- professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
- follow LBA standards of friendly hospitality while adhering to guidelines and procedures
- execute selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue
- act as Manager on Duty, respond immediately to guest requests
- represent the hotel in late evening and early morning hours
- maintain thorough communication with management staff
- greet and register guests, provide room assignments, maintain guest privacy and accommodate special requests
- promote and sell services and amenities of the hotel
- promote repeat business by taking future reservations and providing recommendations
- be aware of potential sales leads and report information
- keep housekeeping and other departments informed of guest needs
- check credit cards for validity
- utilize property management system
- ensure all cash, check and miscellaneous departments are balanced at shift end
- assist in other areas such as food and beverage and cleanliness
- maintain a clean and professional lobby and dining area
- know emergency procedures and practice safety standards
- report unusual occurrences to management
- maintain stock and cleanliness of market area if applicable
- maintain certification from responsible vendor training if alcohol is served
- be flexible with work schedule
- assist other departments as needed
