Job Requirements
- Pass appropriate security clearance according to company policy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 60 pounds
- Ability to see and hear clearly
- Ability to speak and read English
- Display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
- Flexible work schedule including overnight shifts
- Ability to work unsupervised and remain productive
- Must be able to maintain friendly and professional image
- Capable of learning and applying major life activities such as bending, reaching, concentrating, and communicating
- Maintain certification if alcohol service is required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in guest relations, sales, accounting, or service industry preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Skilled in computer operation and property management systems
- Knowledge of cash and credit card handling
- Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism under pressure
- Demonstrated honesty and trustworthiness
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with hotel safety and security protocols
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
- Follow established hospitality standards and company guidelines
- Execute selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue
- Act as Manager on Duty, responding immediately to guest requests
- Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and accommodate special requests
- Promote hotel services and amenities to guests
- Maintain communication with housekeeping and other departments regarding guest needs
- Check credit card validity and balance cash and charge accounts at shift end
- Assist other departments such as food and beverage and housekeeping as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of lobby and dining areas
- Practice safety standards and report hazardous conditions
- Handle emergencies according to hotel procedures
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of market area if applicable
- Complete other duties assigned including assisting laundry and food service
