Job Requirements
- Minimum formal education of a high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to interpret and extract information and perform arithmetic functions
- basic computer knowledge and typing skills
- good communication skills
- CPR training (may be completed upon hire)
- ability to work varied shifts including day, evening, night, weekend, and holidays
- maintain neat and professional appearance including hairstyle and acceptable tattoos and piercings
- willingness to follow uniform guidelines and company policies
- regular attendance and punctuality
- ability to handle guest interactions tactfully and professionally
- ability to perform additional duties as business needs evolve

Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a friendly, positive manner
- ask questions of guests and make personal connections to make them feel valued
- sell the property according to the Suburban Inns sales standard
- gather appropriate data from each guest including addresses, credit card information, and signatures
- follow daily shift checklists to ensure smooth hotel operations
- record special needs, requests, and unique occurrences in Quore and communicate these to the next shift
- complete required emergency training and stay knowledgeable of emergency procedures
- maintain a neat and clean workspace at the front desk and adjacent areas
- perform property walk-arounds and address issues such as trash, used towels, and safety concerns
- settle and reconcile guest accounts and paperwork
- balance cash drawer and make cash drops
- supply information to guests about hotel policies, services, and amenities
- respond to guest requests for assistance and local information
- handle guest concerns with tact and professionalism
- maintain open communication lines between hotel departments
- follow all Suburban Inns processes
- exhibit regular and recurrent attendance
- perform other duties as requested by management
