Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 months hospitality, general office, accounts receivable or customer service experience
  • ability to speak and hear in English
  • capacity for close and distance vision
  • ability to sit frequently with some walking and standing
  • ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds frequently
  • manual dexterity and gross motor skills
  • able to stand for long periods
  • able to work overtime and irregular hours

Job Duties

  • Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
  • issue room key and escort instructions without announcing room numbers
  • answer inquiries about hotel services and local amenities
  • maintain records of room availability and guest accounts
  • compute bills, collect payments, and make change
  • handle and transmit messages through communication equipment
  • enforce hotel credit policies and manage cash deposits
  • greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
  • assign and supervise staff in absence of supervisor if in a lead capacity
  • make reservations for guests and handle valuables
  • perform other duties as assigned
