Job Requirements
- Minimum formal education of a high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to interpret and perform arithmetic functions
- good communication skills
- basic computer knowledge
- typing and record keeping skills
- CPR training or willingness to obtain
- reliable attendance
- ability to work flexible part-time schedule
- willingness to perform additional duties as needed
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- good communication skills
- basic computer knowledge including typing and record keeping
- ability to interpret and extract information and perform arithmetic functions
- ability to problem-solve tactfully and professionally
- demonstrated ability to follow processes and procedures
- experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- CPR training or willingness to complete training upon hire
Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a friendly, positive manner
- ask questions of guests and make personal connections to make them feel welcome and valued
- sell the property according to the Suburban Inns sales standard
- gather the appropriate data from each guest including address information, credit cards, and signatures
- follow shift checklists daily to ensure smooth and efficient hotel operations
- record special needs, requests, and unique occurrences in Quore and communicate to the next shift
- complete required emergency training and stay knowledgeable of emergency procedures
- maintain a neat and clean workspace at the front desk and adjacent areas
- monitor safety and security issues and report problems to appropriate departments and general manager
- settle and reconcile guest accounts and paperwork
- balance cash drawer and make appropriate cash drops
- provide excellent guest service by supplying hotel information, responding to guest requests, and handling guest concerns professionally
- maintain open communication lines between hotel departments
- follow all Suburban Inns processes
- exhibit regular and recurrent attendance
- perform other duties as requested by management
