Job Requirements

  • Pass company security clearance
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for eight hours and perform bending, stretching, reaching
  • Able to see, hear, speak, read English
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • Display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • Ability to perform essential life activities such as concentrating and communicating

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service, sales, or guest relations preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel property, services, and reservation procedures
  • Proficiency with property management systems
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, honesty, and guest service focus
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English
  • Additional language skills a plus
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job

Job Duties

  • Greet and register guests, provide room assignments, maintain guest privacy, and accommodate special requests
  • Promote and sell hotel services and amenities
  • Encourage repeat business by taking future reservations and recommending similar products
  • Identify potential sales leads through guest interaction and communicate to appropriate individuals
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments regarding guest requests and special needs
  • Check credit card validity and ensure all cash and payment departments balance at shift end
  • Operate property management system efficiently for billing and reservations
  • Assist with food and beverage services and maintain cleanliness in public areas
  • Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and practice safety standards
  • Report any unusual occurrences or hazardous conditions to management
  • Maintain stock and cleanliness in market areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned within capability
