Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or guest services preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash and payment processing
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to work full-time onsite
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Professional and clean appearance.

Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm, and process all guest check-ins/check-outs
  • Manage room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
  • Secure payment, verify and adjust billing
  • Activate and file room keys
  • Process guest requests and relay messages
  • Print contingency lists to maintain records of guests in case of emergency
  • Identify and explain room features to guests and provide directions and information about amenities and local areas
  • Follow up on outstanding requests or problems and ensure resolution
  • Run and review daily reports and logs
  • Complete cashier and closing reports
  • Accept and record wake-up call requests and coordinate with appropriate departments
  • Count and secure bank at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Process all payment types including adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any theft reports
  • Follow company policies and procedures and report any accidents or unsafe work conditions
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality
  • Welcome guests and anticipate service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Maintain positive working relationships within the team
  • Comply with quality assurance standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned.
