Job Requirements

  • Must be able to perform major life activities including standing lifting bending learning reading concentrating thinking and communicating
  • must be able to push or pull 60 pounds lift and or carry 30 pounds
  • must be able to stand for eight hours bend stretch and reach
  • must be able to see and hear
  • must be able to speak and read English additional languages are helpful
  • must display professionalism honesty and trustworthiness at all times
  • must pass appropriate security clearance as per company policy

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in service sales telesales or guest relations industry is helpful but not mandatory
  • knowledge of hotel property staff services hours of operation types of rooms locations rates and discounts
  • understanding of frequent stay programs
  • knowledge of reservation procedures including cancellations and walking guests
  • familiarity with phone etiquette and ability to answer inquiries about shopping dining entertainment and travel directions
  • computer literate with the ability to operate property management systems

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
  • follow hotel standards of friendly hospitality while adhering to guidelines and procedures
  • execute selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue
  • greet and register guests providing room assignments and maintaining guest privacy
  • promote and sell services and amenities of the hotel
  • be aware of potential sales leads and report information to the appropriate individual
  • keep housekeeping and other departments informed of guest special requests late check-outs and special needs areas
