Job Requirements

  • Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and securely

  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Basic knowledge of local area and hotel services beneficial

Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Manage room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
  • Secure and verify payment and billing adjustments
  • Activate and file room keys
  • Process guest requests and relay messages
  • Print and maintain contingency guest lists for emergencies
  • Explain room features to guests and provide information about hotel amenities and local areas
  • Follow up on outstanding requests or issues
  • Run and review daily reports and logs
  • Complete cashier and closing reports
  • Accept and record wake-up call requests
  • Count and secure cash bank during shifts
  • Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Use clear and professional language in communication
  • Answer telephones with proper etiquette
  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Comply with quality assurance standards
  • Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
