Job Requirements

  • Pass appropriate security clearance as per company policy
  • able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds and pushing or pulling 60 pounds
  • able to bend, stretch, and reach
  • ability to see and hear adequately
  • read and speak English fluently
  • maintain professionalism and trustworthiness consistently
  • knowledge of entire property including services and operations
  • familiarity with reservations procedures and frequent stay programs
  • ability to follow safety standards and emergency protocols
  • flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • maintain certification if required for alcohol service
  • ability to maintain communication logs and handle multiple communication channels

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in service, sales, telesales, or guest relations preferred but not mandatory
  • strong communication skills in English
  • ability to operate computer systems including property management software
  • knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality standards
  • professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • customer service orientation
  • basic math skills for handling payments
  • ability to communicate in additional languages is a plus

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in a courteous and professional manner
  • follow hotel hospitality standards and procedures
  • execute sales strategies to increase hotel revenue
  • greet and register guests, ensuring privacy and accommodating special requests
  • promote and sell hotel amenities and services
  • manage guest check-in and check-out processes
  • communicate effectively with guests and departments
  • operate property management systems for reservations and billing
  • maintain accurate cash handling and reconcile accounts at shift end
  • assist in other hotel areas such as food and beverage and property cleanliness
  • uphold safety and emergency procedures
  • report hazards and unusual occurrences to management
  • maintain professional lobby and dining areas
  • participate in manager-on-duty functions when scheduled
  • utilize service recovery and communication logs
  • maintain required certifications
  • adapt work schedule to hospitality industry demands
  • perform other duties as assigned
