Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three months experience in hospitality customer service accounts receivable or general office setting
  • Prior experience working with guests handling payments or managing reservations preferred
  • Familiarity with hotel procedures property management systems and guest service best practices is an asset
  • Additional training or coursework in hospitality business or customer service is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet register and assign rooms to guests
  • Issue room keys and escort instructions
  • Answer inquiries about hotel services and local information
  • Keep records of room availability and guest accounts
  • Compute bills collect payments and make change
  • Enforce hotel credit policies and manage deposits
  • Provide friendly and warm guest interactions
  • Take responsibility for assigned employees in absence of supervisor if in lead capacity
  • Make restaurant transportation or entertainment reservations for guests
  • Manage guest valuables and order special amenities as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
