Job Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year guest services, general office, accounts receivable or customer service experience
- ability to speak and hear in English
- close and distance vision
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to walk extended distances

- ability to reach hands and arms in any direction
- ability to work overtime and irregular hours

Job Duties
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- issue room key and escort instructions
- answer inquiries about hotel services, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
- keep records of room availability and guests’ accounts
- make, confirm, and cancel reservations
- compute bills, collect payment, and make change
- post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone
- date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages
- transmit and receive messages using telephone, fax, and switchboard
- enforce hotel credit policies
- account for cash and make deposits
- greet guests warmly
- take responsibility for assigned employees in manager's absence
- make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations
- deposit guests’ valuables in hotel safe
- order complimentary items for special guests
- perform other duties as assigned
